About CoreCraft · Chris Fernandez, Founder
Experience in the field.
Accountability at home.
CoreCraft was built around a simple expectation: you should know who stands behind the work on your home and be able to reach them.
Founder Chris Fernandez brings office, installation, service, project management, and operations experience to an owner-led construction company serving South Florida.
My path to CoreCraft
I learned this business
from the inside out.
I’m Chris Fernandez. Before I founded CoreCraft, I worked in the office, in the field, and in the roles responsible for keeping the entire operation moving. Each step gave me a different view of the same project and the homeowner at the center of it.
My start in the door business.
I began in my family’s door business, working around production-home and retrofit projects. That was my introduction to the industry, long before CoreCraft existed. I started seeing how much work happens behind the scenes before a finished product reaches a home.
Taking responsibility in the office.
By 19, I was running and coordinating the day-to-day office operations. Scheduling, communication, and follow-through became part of my responsibility. It taught me that the work on paper and the work in the field have to stay connected.
Getting hands-on with windows and doors.
I moved into the field as a window and door service and installation technician. I worked inside customers’ homes, dealt with installations and repairs, and saw what happens when something does not perform the way it should. That experience still shapes how I look at an opening, an installation detail, and the scope of a project.
Connecting the people and the details.
My career then moved into project management. The responsibility expanded beyond an individual installation to the decisions, scheduling, materials, and communication that keep a job moving. Knowing the field work helped me understand what needed to happen before the next step could begin.
Leading the whole operation.
I progressed through production, operations, and leadership, ultimately running complete operations at multi-million-dollar home improvement businesses. I learned to see the full picture: the customer’s expectations, the team doing the work, and the systems needed to follow through.
Bringing the personal touch back.
CoreCraft is where I bring those experiences together. I want homeowners to have the benefit of that field knowledge and operational discipline, with a contractor who remains accessible and personally involved. Safety, Trust, and Value are the standards I want this company to represent.
A message from Chris
Your home is personal.
Your contractor should be, too.
I built CoreCraft because I believe experience and personal accountability belong together. You should understand the work being proposed, know what comes next, and know who to call when you have a question.
My background lets me look at your project from more than one angle. I understand the hands-on work, the coordination behind it, and the responsibility of seeing it through. My goal is to bring that perspective to your home without losing the human side of the experience.
When we talk, I want to hear what matters to you, what you want to improve, and what concerns you about the process. That is where a clear scope and a working relationship begin.
